Active people need massages!!

The daily wear and tear of a stress filled job PLUS an active lifestyle demands that the body be restored and rejuvenated on a regular basis. Massage can do that for you.

Relaxation/Recovery Massage $45
1 hour

This massage is about relaxing those hard working muscles. Heat packs on your shoulder and back will have your muscles releasing all their tension. Deep massage to all the muscle groups will enhance blood flow, enhance tissue elasticity and reduce all those nagging aches and pains.

Sports Massage $40
1 hour

This massage is about increasing range of motion and muscle flexibility. It's about getting rid of muscle adhesions - which can help prevent injuries and give pain relief. Increased circulation of both blood and lymph will have you recovering faster from your sport and will improve your overall energy level.

Policies and Procedures

Scope of Practice
I am trained in the use of manual techniques to normalize the soft tissue of the body. My massage is intended to be a health-enhancing system that promotes body balance and efficient body function. I do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions.

Client Needs and Boundaries
I am happy to adjust the pressure, temperature, music volume, work longer on an area, or move on, if you request it. You may choose to leave on as much clothing as needed for your comfort, you can refuse any massage method, you can stop the massage at any time. You are in control.

The breast and genital area will not be massaged under any circumstances. Permission will be asked before I work close to these areas, otherwise a professional distance will be maintained. Many of my massage sessions do involve working in the gluteal and hip region. I will discuss this before we begin your massage.

Client Dress
If you are having a sports massage then a pair of athletic shorts for men and shorts and a sports bra or tank top for women is prefered. Any other type of massage you can undress to your comfort level.

Sanitation and Hygiene
Any equipment or linens that come in contact with the client will be cleaned in an approved method. All lubricants will be dispensed in a contamination-free manner.

Before and after each massage I will wash my hands and forearms and then use a disinfecting agent.

You need to inform me of any breaks in your skin before the massage session, so that I can avoid those areas.

Should either you, the client, or myself contract a contagious disease that could be spread during the massage session (such as cold, flu or other droplet or airborne infection) each of us should inform the other before the session begins. We can then decide whether we should reschedule for both our benefits.
